What about Katie Curic? She is ruining the evening news...maybe she was meant for mornings? Not Roseanne...from one Rosie to another would be like from the frying pan to the fire! Hmmm...Kirstie Alley? Valerie Bertanelli? Ricki Lake? The possibilities are endless!

I think Kathy Griffin or Paula Poundstone or Kathleen Madigan or Judy Gold. I don't think Whoopi is aggressive enough and Rosie is insane. I think an older soap opera actress like Leslie Charleson (GH) or Robin Strasser (OLTL) would be great.

I would be very surprised if the names Kathy Lee Gifford, Ellen DeGeneres (pulling a Regis and doing 2 shows), and (likliest choice) Roseanne Barr are not being tossed around by the producers.
By the way, have you considered it? ;-)

Roseanne Barr did an interview with Enews, she is not doing it, she said they don't want someone so opinionated as her. I don't think that Ellen would do it, with the great thing she has with her show, and heck no to Kathy Lee Gifford, (puke) (gag) I think that Whoopi would be great!!!

I think it should be someone of class such as Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon ,shirley mcclaine ,olympia dukakis or sally field maybe i mean I really think it should be someone impressive .
