Johnny Depp is so amazingly talented. He's been extraordinary in every role he's played [at least, in my opinion!]. I can imagine him as anything, since he's so versatile. I'm sure Sweeney Todd will be a great film, and ten times better with him as the lead!

My gf is an authority on Johnny Depp. She says yeah, she can see him doing that. He had said that he was looking forward to doing the role because it was dark. Thus I too, think that Mr. Depp is motivated and will do a fine job.
