I want to do a business. So I preferred to do Mushroom Business. Is it work for me?

I am working in mnc company. But iam not satisfied with my work. So thought of doing a business, which is my childhood interest. So I prefereed to do a Mushroom Business. Please suggest me is it good business of getting good profits?

It depends. What kind of mushrooms do you plan to grow? Who will you sell them to? How much will it cost you to raise them? How much can you sell them for? Who will your competition be? How and where will you grow your mushrooms?

You should do a business plan before just rushing blindly into starting a business.

It's hard work, and it probably won't make you a lot of money.
That said, if you love doing it, and are good at it, try it. If you're not already growing mushrooms now, though, I would try it for a while without quitting your day job. Oyster mushrooms are easy to grow and would be good to start with. Lions' mane and shitake sell well too. Maitake will bring you more money, but are more difficult to grow - if you live in the san francisco area that climate is good for maitake growing. Do some research. How much do you know about your product? Do you have marketing and sales skills? Do you have enough capital? In BC most mushrooms are supplied by Moneys Mushrooms check there web site..dont jump in till you have a good business plan,, Good luck
