My second cousin's husband, Klaus Steinhorst, was killed by a drunk driver in 2004. The toxicology report revealed that that driver was under the influence of both alcohol and Xanax at the time and yet the report wasn't allowed as evdience because the driver (surprise surprise) didn't consent to have his blood drawn. Here is a link to the latest article about the crash

Probably not. I'm not trying to be a smarty pants, but that's how things are. It sucks. Maybe someday money won't rule everyone.

The biggest monopoly known to man are lawyers.

Think about it:

They write the laws
Enforce them
And carry out its ends

They have a vested interest to keep their pockets lined with cash.

If there is one kind of revolution this country needs is to hang most all lawyers by the shorthairs.

Honestly, in my 56 years on this planet I've learned one thing, never trust a salesman or a lawyer.

The problem is, when we need one they are our best friend.

I sorry to hear about this. I think it was wrong that the evidence. I don't think drunks and druggies should be allowed to consent to anything if they cause an accident and are found to be under the influence

As long as all three branches of government are controlled by lawyers, there are no THREE branches, just one.
Since politicians are mostly lawyers, there will be no change.
The constitution must be amended to reflect that fact and re-direct our government away from domination by lawyers.
The lawyeers won't allow THAT!

Probably not...Lawyers have a monopoly on the U.S. Justice system....It's funny, lawyers don't allow any other profession or industry to have a monopoly, but it's OK for them to have one....Just another reason to hate lawyers.
