lots worse; at one time you should get 2 O ranges, learn on the job, and then get a solid occupation / earnings. Now, the inflow of foreigners who will artwork affordably, potential you would be on the minimum salary for evermore. Plus, the upward push of folk with valueless stages has additionally positioned rigidity on the working classification from above - wherein a level turns into the minimum requirement for clerking and so on. needless to say, there are maximum of alternative components that one must be right here all day - societies with lots extra occurrence of casual violence than Britain (traditionally) have rubbed off on us negatively while they arrive to stay right here. to call yet basically another element. the customary loss of manners and comprehend for others is a significant substitute too.

It is very easy to say worse, but I'm not so sure.
There was never a "golden age", of the sort found in TV series' like Heartbeat.
There have always been muggings, rape, murder and other crime, only it just wasn't reported as much.
I believe the standard of living and healthcare is now better than it has ever been, which is partly why the pensions industry is in meltdown.

Better or worse is such a subjective thing and it depends on who you are and the conditions you are subjected to.
What can be said with no equivocation is that the native
British are being overrun by immigration and if such continues they will be out numbered by immigrants and
folks other than the traditional English folks.
Have a pleasant day.

Well it can't get much worse than it was when I was born ' cause the war had just finished and we were lucky to even have a roof over our heads ---many hadn't.Perhaps this is why I think we live in a brilliant country now.

Worse. More immigrants and not enough work for the born and bred natives. More pollution, more cars, more dangerous perverts and paedophiles - or more coming into the news anyway- more bad news on radio and tv, and less trust in the community. My parents could leave the door unlocked when they went shopping, we can't leave it unlocked for 5 minutes in this day and age.

Do you mean are we dying from Bubonic plague as we used to do....or are we being invaded by Vikings and Romans...are Catholics and Protestants being burned at the stake....
Are there civil wars on the streets
Can you be hung for stealing a sheep
Are you conscripted in the Forces to die on the Somme or on D-Day
Can you face the Death Penalty for Murder
Are you likely to die from TB, Chicken Pox, Small Pox, Diptheria
Do you have to go to the workhouse if you are in debt.
Need I go on?
Yes the UK is better than it was in the 1950's and 1960's
I think it is still better than it was 10 years ago....but you need to have been around a few years to have any meaningful perspective....
