Yeah buddy! Lets party!
Well, idk about France though, maybe Iran so she can REALLY enjoy the freedoms they give over there.

America is about saving lives. Thats why we went to Iraq: to free a people of an evil dictatorship led by Saddam Hussein (Saddam Hussein gassed tons of his own people). I wish the terrorists had your attitude though! Then 3,000 of my fellow Americans wouldn't have died on September 11, 2001.
But, she did lose a son, for that I am very sorry for her loss. But, she turned her sons death into a profit. She hates America (according to a post she has just written: "Good-bye America ...you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it.".
America wants what is best for this world, and that is fighting terrorism.
LondonCatlover:
She can speak. She did speak. No one listened (except for a few people who don't care about the future of the country/world). We are fighting the war in Iraq so others don't have to put up with the crap of 9/11 like we did.
Dave S:
We are in Iraq to help others. "Oh, but lets only care about ourselves." We need to fight terrorism where terrorism originates, otherwise we WILL be overrun with terrorist attacks.
So, in your point of view, why did we go to war with Hitler? He didn't attack us. He didn't come to America and kill people.
We went to him so we wouldn't be attacked. Its called strategy. We are using it by going after terrorists in their own territory.
Cindy Sheehan protested this war for who knows what. Sure, the troops are dying. They signed an oath that they would protect this nation from criminals, foreign and domestic, and I salute them for that. They have protected this nation from those who want to destroy the freedoms we have. When terrorists kill 3,000 of my fellow Americans, they deserve justice. I don't care what terrorists they are, if they are from Iraq or Japan, we will find them and bring them to justice.
"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." - Bill Clinton in 1998

To be brutally trouble-free if I by no potential see her on television, interior the papers or on the information returned i could be a chuffed guy.

I feel sorry for her. Most Americans never got her point because they are brainwashed with Patriotic propoganda that doesnt allow them to sufficiently challenge their leaders decisions.
If America hadnt invaded Iraq, would it have been as safe today as it was back then?
I would say yes.
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 yet you have idiots on here who go on about the war on terror. Name one Iraqi national who has committed an act of atrocity against the US on its home soil before the invasion.
Cindy was right, her son died a needless death. Where were these weapons of mass destruction? Where were these weapons that could launch a missile attack on the UK within 45 minutes?
Yep lets ignore all the advice of the UN and blunder our way into a war that has become this generations Vietnam.

No It is not a great day for America. In fact it is a sad day when people like Cindy can not speak out about a war where hundreds of not only military personnel and civilians are dying every day but the fact that that war is based on a lie to begin with. I come from a family with a military history and I would not want to see anyone in my family die for one man's obbsession. I just hope and pray no one in your family dies in this war.

i'm not american but, i think most people would sympathise with anyone who lost someone they loved, especially if it was at the hands of a liar like bush. she may have taken things a step too far, but being in the land of the free she's intitled to.

She lost a son and she was angry. I think she was very brave to put her entire life on the line to try to make a difference and save lives. I think that's what America should really be all about.

I think she ultimately had good intentions - and for many of us supported our US Troops but oppose the war. But like many..I believe the publicity quickly went to her head and she forgot what she was protesting. Politics & publicity win again.
