Its okay to give a baby juice after six months but I would be very careful when introducing orange juice. It is more acidic and could upset her stomach. Good idea not to just give it to her straight but to incorporate it in her fruit. I would wait longer if she has any kind of tummy problems like reflux. Most doctors will recommend waiting to introduce tropical fruits and juices until after nine months in case an allergy develops. It also gives her stomach more time to mature to handle the acidic nature of those fruits. Some want you to wait until one year of age. Also, make sure you don't allow her to drink juice from a bottle before bed cause that can cause tooth decay. I never would let my kids drink juice from a bottle at all. It was either mixed with other food or was in a cup.

NO! Orange juice is way too acidic for her stomach. Stick to apple or pear juice mixed with water to thin out the sugar concentration.

No. A 9 month old is still too young for citrus. My neice ate an orange once and when she pooped it burned really bad and she was bleeding a little bit.

It's also very bad for their teeth.......due to all the natural sugars in it, it is worse for children's teeth than coke.

no wait until one year old and dilute it when you do give it to the child
