Yes they become family through marriage but they cannot be blood relatives (unless you marry within your own family which would be weird)

Of course they are not blood but they do become family. Just remember though, your spouse is part of you and more important they any other family member.

Yes, they are your family. Bone of my bone, blood of my blood, biblically they ARE your blood.
Some will argue that you marry your spouse and not the family. But, I do not agree with that at all. You marry everything!
