I know they started out really well. Right now they are struggling. I for one would like to see them make it (would also like to see my Yankees make it). Us folks here in Milwaukee would love to see the Brew Crew in the playoffs.

Absolutely, and I am from Chicago.

Those bums on the north side will never catch up and st.Louis looks horrible. If Milwaukee plays 500 ball for the rest of the year they will win the division and make the playoffs.

The yankees are another story they look very bad, But I will never bet against Jeter down the stretch.

The Brewers comprehend that for the time of all probability, Sabathia and Sheets will the two bypass away on the top of the twelve months. If Sheets is going to bypass away on the top of the twelve months already, they could to boot make one final push whilst they have the group to do it. they have been enjoying very properly as of overdue, and that they have an somewhat valid shot at triumphing the branch. it somewhat is a not uncomplicated branch, yet they certainly have a valid shot. it is not not uncomplicated to work out the best judgment at the back of this deal nevertheless. they're in step with making the playoffs this twelve months. hassle-free and straightforward. for sure, from there they plan on triumphing all of it. they have Sheets precise now. Sheets - Sabathia is a huge one-2 punch for each and each individual. in the event that they could bypass into the playoffs with that, they could be a real rigidity. The Brewers have a good farm gadget, and so as that they are able to area with LaPorta. Plus, they gets early draft selections in the subsequent couple years for Sheets and Sabathia, so it contraptions them up with much greater useful possibilities at a vivid destiny. i'm a Braves fan, so i don't care overall how the Brewers do, yet I actually have a lot of appreciate for Sheets and experience watching him pitch, so i could somewhat desire to work out him get into the playoffs and notice what he could desire to do. i think of their followers can agree nevertheless, that in the event that they win the worldwide sequence, it can be a useful commerce. additionally, basically a sidenote...they have Braun in LF and Hart in RF. those are 2 stars. The outfield is kinda blocked for LaPorta anyhow.

They will make the playoffs because the NL central is so terrible, none of the other teams are really capable to make that run except maybe the Cubs. So potentially the Brewers could win that division with a record under .500 and as far as the Yankees go they are finished, that starting pitching is brutal and don't be surprised if you see Joe Torre resign sometime soon.

The baseball season is not a sprint it is a marathon. The Brewers were hot in April but I don't think it will continue. Any team can get hot. Take my Orioles for example they were in 1st into the all-star break 2 years ago but ended up 3rd in the east. I would give this Brewers a most improved award this far into the season but I wouldn't go as far to say that they are playoff caliber.

Long season still to come...and their recent slump has shown they are not as invincible as before...i would say they have just as good a shot right now as anyone in the NL...true test will be come august....will they still be up front or will they be fading fast.....since the NL central has really no defined co-runner with the Brew Crew (although wishing my Cubs make a good run at it), I see as of TODAY, the Brew Crew at least making the playoffs...wont go as far as saying World Series, just yet

I think they will. They are this year's Tigers. Capuano will be a leading candidate for Cy Young going into the All Star break. Bill Hall and Prince Fielder will hit 40+ home runs. And it only helps that they are in the weak NL Central.

They certainly have the talent, Fielder, Hardy, Cordero. But they are really on a slide now, 6 straight losses. They started so great right out of the gate that they really had nowhere to go but down. But if they get the kinks out and start playing the way they are capable, then yes. I say they will.

I hope they make it, but it is a long season and the Brewers have a way of blowing things when they get off to a good start. Let's hope! Though not for the Yankees! :-)

I think they will make it.

1) They play in a weak division
2) They have quality pitching even though Capuano has been struggling as of late.
3) They have a well rounded line-up

They are having a bad streak right now, but they still remain 4-5 games ahead, and I think they will bounce out of the slump and win their division. So, yes, they will make the playoffs.

Chow!!
