All allopathic tablets are bound to have some or other side effects. Homeopathy is not very effective unless the BP is due to psychologicalm reasons. Ayurveda works better without any side effects and no addiction forming. Take for 4 to 6 months and taper down and stop. Capsules like Rudved/Cardoved/Suved/Slow Gold etc are few of them mentioned.
