are the engines in these bikes rattly because ive just done top end camshaft tappet shims and its still rattly they are set perfect.and bottom end is fine,camshafts are good to,any ideas?

They are pretty reliable but a bit rattly.
Shouldn't be excessive though.
Tensioner may be stuck, ( I forget exactly which one is on the 95 model?)
You did use top dead center compression to set valves, and rotate engine for each cylinder ?
How many miles has it done?

It may need a new cam chain tensioner.
Without hearing the noise, I can only speculate.
