If you've already got a bra that can go strapless, you could just buy the clear straps on their own from a lingerie store.
Just try going to different lingerie stores (La Senza, Victoria's Secret) to see if they've got any that are inexpensive, of they're having a sale.

OH, dear god, PLEASE don't wear one. If your outfit is not meant to have a bra under it, don't wear one. plastic straps are so tacky, and strapless bras are always ridiculously visible under your clothes, making your boobs look like a mess. If you are too huge or too old and saggy to go without a bra, then wear a different top.

fredericks of hollywood has them i dont know about price im too large chested to use clear straps but i know they have them and usually have items like that on clearance

I got a really nice one at Torrid on sale - I was really surprised that they had such a great lingerie department that caters to fashion as well as function.

Kohl's is the best place for underwear. Good brands, good prices.
