Death....I choose death.

Definitely the farts - I think there should be separate airlines for people with children or they need to realize that they had a baby and should stay home. If I wanted a screaming leech with me 24/7 I'd go get knocked up... since I have the option not to, I shouldn't be subjected to someone's screaming leech!

A smelly fart is more discreet than that of the other choice. I can always cover my nose and wait till the bad odor is gone.

I wouldn't know when the baby's gonna stop crying anyway. And besides, even if you cover your ears, you could still hear the baby..awful.

So I'd rather sit beside someone who farts bad. (But ewwwww)

That's way hard. I can't stand screaming kids, but smelly farts would be pretty bad. I'll take the farts, maybe I could hold a cloth over my face or something.

I would have to say the smelly farts, because after the person got a whiff of the ones I would fire back they would be gone in a heartbeat! =) Spurs have one more to win baby!

OMG! I would rather jam a stick in my eye. If there are 2 things that I can't stand it's those two! I flew to Germany with a crying baby for 8 hours when I was 15. That might be why I don't have children myself, and I can't STAND to hear one cry.

Probably the farts. I figure I would get used to the stench eventually. The screaming child would be annoying throughout.

Boy, Spun Hon, that is the hardest choice. How do you think of these things? I will take the screaming baby, thank you. @80)

I'd go with the baby; since the airplane has pillows, you could cover your ears to help eliminate the noise. Plus the kid's gotta stop crying eventually...
