Depends on how old are you? One book can't be the best. Tastes change according to age.
For me,' the Mahabharata' is the best book. It is about war and peace, about the complexities of human life. philosophy.
It contains the Bhagwad Gita'. World's best known book on philosophy of life.

Yes Minister. Its just one great book that you would love to read again and again. But if you are American you will not understand the nuances. You have to be a Brit or Indian so you can relate it to real time.
