Every month about two weeks b4 my period comes, I bloat up so much I look pregnant... Is this normal?? My periods are pretty regular and my cramping is mild..... Anyone else deal with this?????

Drink more water during this time. It's mostly water weight you're retaining. Eat foods with less salt. If it's a gassy bloat, take simethicone, gas-x or beano to help reduce that.

Yes, but my bloating is usually just the week before. I even gain about 5 lbs, that I lose immedietly when my period comes.

I go through this too!! I thought I was alone. I just drink a lot of water then lay down as much as I can it usually helps. It is just gas, try pamprin

avoid salty foods before your period!! this is the case most of the time with some women. it's one of the most annoying effects of pms. :(

i think there is some bacteria in your gut which grows better when there is a certain level of hormones ( 2 weeks b4) and they make lots of gas.

That's from ovulation, it used to happen to my daughter, go to your gyno they might be able to help.

it is water weight gain it happens to lots of women.
