Are you under a lot of stress? Have you gained or lost a good amount of weight (20 lbs in either direction in the last 2-4 months?). All of these things can offset your period and make you skip periods. I used to skip periods a lot when my marriage was falling apart and when I was in college. The stress was so much I'd start missing them.

Yes it is possible. My period was late for 40 days, was not pregnant and was not stressed. Off to the Gyno I went. After doing a vaginal sono with nothing wrong they did extensive blood work which included testing my thyroid. All came back normal. Doctor said I was starting menopause or pre-menopause as they call it. I'm in my late thirties. Told me if it got to the point where I could not stand the emotional shift changes to come back and they would put me on the pill. I decided to tough it out since my husband is fixed and I don't want to have to take anything ( I have two toddlers so my attention is focused in other areas right now). It's rough... I was getting hot flashes, snapping at my husband, tired, uninterested in things (other than my children). It comes and goes along with the late and or early period. Good Luck and try to take care of yourself.

The menopause happens between the a protracted time of 40 5 to 50. the time-honored age is approximately 40 seven yrs. on occasion it somewhat is seen that ladies folk menstruate somewhat usually at fifty 5 by using progression contained in the final well being and environmental circumstances of ladies folk. It has actual no longer something to do with parity or the age at which the menopause happens. In some women folk the menstruation situations abrubtly in the process the third decade of existence with out producing any disturbances of the final well being. So it somewhat is achieveable that the menopause could ensue at age of 35. anyhow exclude the different situation for the stoppage of menstruation and make it specific it somewhat is menopause in ordinary terms.

You can but that would be very early.
I went into surgical menopause at 37, just pray you are not just yet. Not fun.
Are you having hot flashes and night sweats? These are the most common obvious signs, besides the irregular bleeding.
Get your estrogen levels tested, that would probably tell you a lot.

It is possible that you may be premenopausal. This is the time when your period gets irregular as it is adjusting to not coming at all.If your period started early (10 or 11) it is more likely that you will stop having your periods early.Check with you Doctor to see whats up.I wish you all the best.

It is possible but if you think you might be in perimenopause then see your doc to get your hormones checked. My first signs were night sweats but everyone is different. I started just as I entered my early 40's and was done with my periods for good by time I was 48.

Yep. The youngest I've heard of went throught it at 19. Her twin gave her an ovary.
Definately ask your doctor. It might not be menopause, but something else is going on down there possibly.
Good luck!!
