I am almost 15 years old and ever since I can remember, I've been writing stories. I have a huge drawer filled with notebooks that contain hundreds of stories. To be honest, I haven't completely finished an entire story lately, but if I find out the following information I will definitely get those creative juices flowing!

Does anyone know where I can go or what I can do to get one of my stories published? Any tips for writing best-selling stories?

I appreciate your time. Thank you so much!!!

Ashley, imagine about belongings you want or dislike and books or video clips you've study and said that you completely loved. Now, take those thoughts and turn them round to in nice condition -- you. Make up some characters and a version of the memories you theory about and skim. it truly is done each and every of the time in sequels that are done by utilising diverse manufacturers and directors. for instance: Jaws, The Howling, The Exorcist. you do not ought to do what they did, basically make up your own tale on an same lines. go searching you. There are issues contained in the international that you probably like and dislike. Write a narrative about how someone were given ill and uninterested in being the undesirable guy and made a change. this may be undesirable and this may be sturdy. this is all as a lot as you. My first e book become about an section we went swimming when we were youngsters. I replaced it round from an Indian tale to a witch and mythology tale. sturdy success! PJ M

You can google "short story publishers" and come up with a few. Other than that go to your local magazine store and have a look at all the magazines there, each one uses authors. They usually have contact info inside the cover and that failing google them. You want to look for "Guidelines" when you get to the site.
Also do a search for "writer's Markets" and don't forget "Writer websites" these have tons of info on them including articles on how to write.

If you are in the US or Canada, your local library should have a copy of "The Writer's Digest Writer's Market. It is a list of magazines and the type of things they buy. Start with "Literary and Little".

If you are in USA, try submitting your stories to the local magazines or newspapers first. And there are several online events and competitions, I understand. Once you get noticed, you will attract the agents and publishers.

Good luck.
