Can someone tell me which is the best medical school/college/university in the US or in any other country? Thanks...

I actually don't need the admission requirements. {Thanks for the effort though} I just need who's who, cause some hospitals abroad get their doctors from the best medical schools. I mean they want the name of that school in your resume. And now I know, there is another term for what competency. Anyways, thanks again!

Just yesterday or the day before, there were college ranking lists on yahoo covering about every category under the sun. I'll see if I can find the list.

Medical colleges in the USA are all members of the American Association of Colleges of Medicine. You can find out more about US med schools at their website.

There is no point in worrying about which is best. They are all good (after all, every person on their faculties is an expert doctor!) The real problem is just getting in to one! In the USA some med schools receive 10,000 applications from excellent students and enroll fewer than 200.

To be admitted to a US med school you need outstanding grades in your prerequisite courses, a high score on the MCAT exam and excellent references from your college teachers and the people who supervised you in your volunteer activities.

There is a ranking on the US News website that divides med schools into several different specialties, but it only ranks about 3 schools in each category. You could go to some other med school and get excellent training inthat field, so the whole ranking system doesnt really mean much.
