I have had problems with my kidneys since I was a baby. I actually found out I was pregnant with my first son due to a kidney infection. They did an ultrasound and found the baby. I had infections through the whole pregnancy and then again with my second. Don't worry, if the Dr. said everything is ok then I wouldn't worry!
Good luck and congrats!

So long as you take your antibiotics until they are GONE, you should be fine, I had a kidney infection with my 2nd and ended up in the hospital on IV antibiotics cause I didnt finish all the oral antibiotics like I was suppose too.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

just make sure they know that you are pregnant.. otherwise it can have bad side effects... if not you need to tell them ASAP to be safe.
if you cant get ahold of the doc you can call the pharmacy and they should be able to tell you...

make sure your drinking lots of water/cranberry juice..that will help....

kidney infections are bad.. i hope it passes soon for you...
