Yeah...they are one of my favorite bands, and probably the best live band Ive seen in the last 10 years. They have a large following despite no radio air play, or heavy rotation on mtv.

Clutch rocks! They are a very heavy Stoner Rock type of band. Imagine Black Sabbath mixed with the normal side of Queens of the Stone Age. Then add another 5 tons of Metal Sludge like Alice In Chains' last CD.
They Rule on CD, and they Rule Live!

I've been keeping a close eye on Clutch since the Transcontinental Speedway League. Every one of their albums is phenomenal. And I just LOVE the new one (from Beale Street to Oblivion); they're getting back to their blues roots. I've only had the pleasure of seeing them live once; they haven't been here in New Mexico since 1998. They're the only band I've ever even heard of (besides Primus) that can improvise heavy metal. Sick!

LOOOOOVE Clutch! They are an amazing band, they've been around for a while and never disappoint! They make great albums and play awesome shows! I was blown away by the last show I saw them at. I'm glad other people are love em as much as I do.

They're awesome. As for never hearing about them on here, you've just missed the loads of answers I've given recommending them to people.
I think they're something just about anyone can get into.

I'm sorta familiar with Clutch. A friend of mine loves them and he made me a compilation CD. They're ok but nothing special, I prefer CKY to them.
