I have a 2000 model 325 Polaris Magnum fourstroke. I took it to the shop to see what was wrong with it and they said I needed a new crankshaft. They said it would cost $1100. Another guy told me it wasn't but $250. Does anyone know how much it would really cost just for the part.

The $1100 was probably labor to install it.

The Polaris Magnum crankshaft suggested retail price is $459.99 What the dealer sells them for is another story. If you shop around you can find them for less.

But I personally would check with some ATV salvage yards or even ebay for the crankshaft.

Sounds about right including labour.
The crank alone will be around $500.00, plus gaskets, etc.
May be possible to get a rod kit and re-build it but not too many people can or will
