They get the idea from other kids doing the exact same thing. Kids are very receptive to what works in allowing them to get whatever they want. They see the reaction they get when they tell you that they love you. Its like it melts your little heart to hear your little ones tell you that but at the same time now give me your money or buy me this or that gets to be frustrating.

it's hard because we want to give them everything but I know it is wrong to do all the time because it ends up with your question.
I am a strong parent and I try to remember that my example of poor discipline will hurt them when they are older. So I stay strong - that helps me to remember that.
