I was sent home from 11-7 at 3am this morning. I was fine until 1 when I suddenly doubled over with a pain in my side. It is on the right and the most of it is a little lower than my belly botton and to the right. I got over heated, sick to my stomach, and even almost passed out. I am not feeling quite this bad as of now but still have side pain. Do you think this could be an appendicitis? I am not having menstrual cramps so that is ruled out. If it was my appendix, wouldn't it hurt terribly bad and not let up at all? Thanks for answering, please only mature answers.

well i personally have pain like this quite frequently. i have ovarian cycsts, and the pain does let off sometimes. what you need to do is go to either your doctors office or to the ER and ask them to check it out. the ovarian cycsts are not a dangerous thing in most cases, but if it is apendicitis, it definitely needs to be checked out ASAP. [when i was hospitalized it took them from 2pm to 6 am to figure out what was wrong with me, so if you go to the hopsital, tell them about this pain, and tell them a 'friend' told you about her condition and if they could do a pelvic ultrasound to see if thats what the problem is]. Good luck and i hope you get better soon!

It is a possibility that it could be your appendix, but another possibility is kidney stones. If it isn't constant pain, my guess would be that is is a kidny stone. When I had mine some of the symptoms consisted of, overheating, pain that traveled from front to back, cramping, and a throbbing pain. With a kidney stone, the pain comes in spurts. You may not even know that you have one until it moves. These stones have little spikes on them and as they move each and every time they rip the kidney. This causes blood in the urine, so you may also want to check for that. Cures for this is to either pass the stone or if it is too big to pass you will need surgery. I would get it checked out

YES YES AND YES.

This really does sound like an Appendix attack. Get to the Doctor or the emergency room promptly.. Should it be bad enough to rupture you can get Peritonitis, the abdominal area will become infected.

Google appendicitis attack for symptoms. The vomiting and temp. are definitely symptoms.

GO TODAY, DO NOT WAIT.

Appendicitis is usually a constant pain, not one that comes and goes. That is not to say that your condition is not appendicitis, however.

Depending on where you are in your cycle, it could also be pain related to ovulation. Some women do experience mild to intense discomfort during ovulation. If you have been trying to conceive, it may also be related to pregnancy.

If you suspect appendicitis, you should be seen by a medical professional immediately! Keep track of your temperature and any other symptoms you are experiencing, as they may be beneficial to your diagnostician.

it cud stil be appenicitis, severe and constant is only when it is really about to burst. it does sound like it, try suckin in and if it gets worse it could very well be. get to a doctor though as its the only way of ruling it out! its better to get checked out before it gets any worse as there are a number of things it could be...
i had same symptoms and thought it was app too, but it turned out i had ruptured an ovarian cyst!! and if this is the case waitin for it to rupture could lead to toxic poisoning or other complications...

Firstly - go to your doctor!!!

Appendicitis usually first manifests itself as a pain in the central midriff before moving to the right. This could be anything and if not diagnosed early it could be something which could ultimately kill you.

Do not be silly by asking amateurs here - such as me - to diagnose you remotely on scanty evidence.

At the very least call a medical helpline for your own sake.

It could be but it could also be your gallbladder. It's best to have an x-ray to be absolutely sure. See your doctor or go to the ER to find out for sure (today!). If it is the appendix, if it bursts, then you're really in trouble.

I had a pain similar to this. But my turned out to be gall stones. It was like I couldn't even move at all. I had to stay like in a fetal position. It was terrible. It made me feel like I wanted to throw up and when I would go to throw up, it would be like some kind of white liquid that tasted pretty nasty.

Sounds similar to an inflamed appendix. You might want to go have it checked out. If it is your appendix and it ruptures, you could get sepsis and it could be fatal.

this could be appendicitis if you have fever or renal colic if no fever it can also be mascular so you have to go to a doctor and don't delay because if appendicitis and it ruptures you will be in a really bad situation.good luck
