makeup, hair accessories, and jewelry? I have to have these things, and haven't been on a plane in 5 years so forgive my ignorance.

If you are bringing makeup or any kind of hair spray or gel, it needs to be in a factory marked container. You cannot just bring it in one of those travel-sized clear containers, they have to actually have the manufactured bottle stating what it is. I think jewelry is fine. They might not let you on with hair pins.

when in doubt check it, you never know what they are banning at that second last time i flew over Christmas i had a snow globe in my carry on along With other breakable things and i had to throw it in the trash (good buy $50 bucks) so i say better safe then garbage. And don't worry they only restrict carry on luggage anything you check is OK

All airport rules are different but as long as items are NOT in your carry on bag you should be able to. Liquids on carry-on are limited and they will confiscate such as perfume. lotion shampoo etc.. so best Not to put in carry on bag. You can always call airport for assistance they will be more than happy to help you.

Can't take sharp objects (scissors etc.). Fluids you need to be in containers of maximum 100ml, put in a clear plastic bag, and in total not more that 1litre.

put your shampoo and conditioner in a plastic bag (well anything that has liquid) it will/or could explode!
