I have been told by many doctors that it will be difficult for me to conceive and by others it will be very easy. I'm still young so my body hasn't made a cycle when I do they can better accurately tell. All have agreed the chances of me having twins are very high ( I am a twin from a mother who is a twin, she was born of a mother who is a twin herself and had two sets of twins...Say it slowly and you might be able to get it).
The first time I heard "you may not be able to have children" it broke my heart. I was with my best friend and I came out of the doctors office stunned. I somehow managed to get to the parking lot (which I really don't remember) before I started full on sobbing. My best friend picked me up and he somehow managed to put me in the car....We talked about it and it isn't the end of the world but having children is something I've always wanted. If I can't I'll adopt. Time will tell. Oh and I'm 20

I was told I could never have children. I have a double uterus, an incomplete septum, only one fallopian tube and ovary which is bent back and attached to the double uterus, plus cysts and polyps which have caused me much pain over my life. I was devastated. Then, in 1997 I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, and 14 months later I had my son. I guess I showed them. Never give up hope. Sometimes miracles happen.

At age 47, with 3 teenage sons, I would not be upset if I were told that. In fact, I saw to it myself that this would not happen again.
And I'm remarried, 2 years now.

I'd probably be upset but then I always sort of try to be positive when I hear this kind of news. So I don't think I'll hurt too bad..I could always adopt.
I'm 26 and single.
