What is the worst thing you ever had to tell someone?

I had to tell my daughter who was 7 that her baby sister had passed away they brought her to the hospital and she had made her a bracelet and she of course became upset and I held her while she cried and then I asked her if she wanted to see her and be involved in the baptism and she did it was very sad. I also had to tell my boyfriends 16 year old cousin his mother passed away which was also very sad I had to hold him while he cried in the middle of the street and he lived with us until he turned 18.

telling my step son to get to the hospital... in the middle of the night.
his Dad/my husband died at 2:30 am. he didn't make it in time to say goodbye...



and this morning telling my 5 year old that her bunny died. and that one of our ducklings isn't going to be 'ok' (he was born too early)


death is a hard thing to have to tell people about.. especially children.
