Babies are most active in the womb from about 22 weeks on, so your baby is still sort of small right now and you wont' be feeling LOTS of movements or very strong ones. In fact, some pregnant women aren't feeling movement at all when they are at 18 weeks.

So I would not worry about it too much at this point.

But whenever you are concerned, just lie down for a while and drink something with sugar in it, like juice. See if you feel some movements. If nothing happens in an hour call your doctor.

Congratulations!

No this is normal....most women do not even start to feel the baby move until about now. The baby still has plenty of room to move in there unless you are very small. If you have any concerns or think something may be wrong...always call the doctor! CONGRATS!!!

Maybe what you had thought was movement before, was really something else. It's possible to mix up the feeling, because I had no clue what it felt like until there was no other explanation for it. The little movement you're feeling is normal, but if it worries you that much ask your doctor at your next ultrasound!

i didnt feel my baby kick til almost 24 weeks! before that maybe i did but it just felt like gas...its hard to really tell! 18 weeks however is very early and they do not have a routine with kicking yet...think about how small your baby is right now!
