· You can resize easily by using calculation

· More economical and efficient

· Easier to see the characteristics

· You can see the image in animation so you can get the feeling of it without having to build it

No, CAD is computer aided drafting. The advantages are obvious. Manual drafting is rarely done by anyone professional. AutoCAD just happens to be the standard of many industries from land surveying to mechanical design. It is a 3d modeling application that allows the draftsman to make computations while drafting which makes it almost impossible to create an erroneous design.

uh digital presicion,
extremely detailed models at any scale,
modulated structure of the model,
easy to send and share with others on the job.
ability to import into its sister product, 3D studio to create animated displays for customers.

oh and no more graphite dust on your hands!!
