Each of the first 3 degrees takes one evening, and since lodges meet once a month, becoming a Master Mason (3rd degree) usually takes 3 months in American Freemasonry.
Once you are a 3rd degree Mason, you are at the highest "level" in Masonry. All other degrees after that, which are conferred by the Scottish Rite if you choose to join that, are just supplimentary to the 3 degrees.
There is a user on here by the name of NeoArt who is a member of American Co-Masonry. If you ask him he will probably tell you that in his order, they take longer. If you are referring to this particular order, he would be better suited to answer your question, but if you are talking about regular American Freemasonry, you will generally find that it is 3 months, unless you join a lodge that has special permission to do all three degrees in one month or even one day, but I would not recommend that, as you will not get as much from it.
If you have any other questions about Freemasonry, please feel free to contact me.

Depends upon your personal skill level and the jurisdiction in which you reside. There are certain " regulations " which each Grand Lodge makes.
Where I am a person once accepted can do it all in one day, however, the person still must prove himself to the satisfaction of the Brothers of his Lodge.

thank you for the plug, Bro. Maboot. *grin* In American Co-Masonry, Freemasonry for women and adult men, the approach is slower. We believe that the alchemy of Freemasonry takes an prolonged and greater conserving hearth. From Intiation to being Raised to the chic diploma of grasp Mason takes a minimum of a twelve months. we assume our EAs and FC to many times attend inn (because we open interior the 1st diploma, all Brethren could attend inn as quickly as a month) and to study not in basic terms the solutions to the questions yet in addition to appreciate all areas of the ritual, a minimum of those areas that they are conscious of. it is reachable for while one turns right into a grasp Mason, you will be asked to fill any sort of distinctive workplaces for ritual. and of direction as quickly as one gets to the Grand inn, the main Sovereign looks to thrill in puttin new Masters into interesting spots. final twelve months I without warning grow to be Musician for a elevating and inner shield for an Initiation. Had I not had the time in inn to grow to be very accustomed to the rituals, i could have been plenty greater fearful than i grow to be. So why are you in this sort of hurry to grow to be a grasp Mason? maybe it quite is distinctive on your Order, yet in mine the Fellowcraft diploma and time in it grow to be a marvelous time of exploration. A grasp Mason American Co-Masonry Hiram inn No. 11 (Santa Cruz, CA) Amon Ra inn No. 9 (la, CA) Sapientia inn of analyze (Larkspur, CO) Adamant Mark inn No. 3 (Santa Cruz, CA)
