I thought they were a mixture of spanish and black my friend isnt sure

Puerto Ricans, are the decendants of Afircan slaves, Native peoples of that Island, and the Spanish.. They have variety of different shades and looks. ie Felix Trinidad, Jimmy Smits, Eric Estada, Rosie Perez, Fat Joe, Irene Cara.
