It's a phishing scam, period .NO legit employer is asking you for a permit fee up front. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.

Hari D, hate to tell you this but that letter smells like a scam to me.Be informed that there is nothing like Total Nig. PLC anymore but TotalFinaElf Nig Plc,at least in Nigeria. The advice to get intouch with the customs official thru a GSM line is too fake. The Total I know of would not direct you that way.It would be more official and clear.Do good to contact the company directly thru their web site or the nearest Nigerian Embassy close to you for the needed advice.Best of luck.

Seriously now... someone suddenly offered you a job paying $323,040 annually. Why you? Do you have the skills to command $300K in what you are doing now? What is this job? CEO? http://www.exxonmobil.com/USA-English/HR/Siteflow/recruiting_scams.asp These scam are so prevalent that all the major companies (click the link) detail them. If you have to pay for it... it's not a job. So delete this and never respond again. Good luck.

That is a total scam. What ever you do, I probably would not invest. I get those offers all the time. It is called "Phishing." I would put the address in your blocked addresses listing under settings.

NO, NO, NO! It's a very common, very well known scam. Trust me, you'll get nothing out of it if you agree to anything this person says!
