Boy, do I ever agree with you. Some of the younger players got it going a few years back and I don't like the look. I say, let's go back to the stirrups!!

They are trying to be fashion statements I guess, maybe they think it will let them run faster. I don't care for that look either, I
prefer regular baseball pants with the stir up socks.

late 80's early 90's.. Chipper Jones wore the old style for a while.. a couple of others still do I think.

They're more comfortable. They aren't as tight and feel more like regular pants.
