I don't think it is very proper for an asker to leave his question without choosing him/herself the best answer. It is somehow a disrespect to those who answered. Therefore, whenever I see a question marked "in Voting", yes, I vote for best answer.
No, I don't vote my answer not because of... modesty and fair play but because after some time I have forgotten which my answer could be. Therefore I vote the one that suits me best. Probably it is mine, but I never know for sure. And I don't really mind. It is kind of stupid to vote your own answer as the best. Knowing that no one else agreed with you, what is the joy of the game??

Questioners!! Vote for the best answer! Respect those who have answered your question.

I sure do. And I actually try to read all of the answers to honestly pick which one I think was best. I don't just pick the first answer.

I voted to day and noticed that for every single question the first answer always had the most votes. I think people are just voting to get points and don't actually care about the best answer.

Yes, sometimes. I don't search for questions to vote for. But if I just see an interesting question, I read the question, read the answers, and if there is an answer I agree with, I will vote for it.

Yes, but I can't help it, especially when the rest of the answers to the question is really crappy, I feel like I need to vote for my own answer,or else it won't be fair.

I always get Best Answer because there's other people vote for me too though.^_^

Yes, I do. Somtimes I think the question is better voted on by the community than by the asker.

I do it every day. I like to look for the witty responses. The ones that make me laugh out loud and make my coworkers wondering what I'm doing are the ones I vote for.

Yes, always. I think its only fair when people have taken the trouble to write answers, especially the long involved ones with loads of info.
