This is what we have been saying all along, that the president did not and can not go to war, or remain in war on his own. Our type of government prevents it. The senate and house both republican and democrat voted to do it, AND to stay in it. So what the hell made her finally realize it? To quote the good witch of the north, "the power to see it was always there" so what happened???

Well now that her "friends" the Democrats are running things and not doing anything, maybe they told her to cool it. It seems like her crusade was more a result of her hating Bush rather than a desire to accomplish anything. She probably can't bear to criticize the Dems.

You TOTALLY don't get it. She decided to stop now because it's apparent to her that the DEMOCRATS are enabling bush's illegal war. She feels betrayed - as should all *patriotic* Americans - that Democrats have put militarism before love of country - because illegal wars are NOT GOOD for our *country.* Blowback will not be pretty. And yes, a war based on a pack of LIES makes said war ILLEGAL.

Cindy has walked the walk - and she has every right to reclaim her life. No one said she had to devote the rest of it to the cause of peace. She has honored her son by speaking truth to power.

The Democrats, especially, those who voted to fund bush's bloody illegal war should hang their heads in shame. That would presuppose a conscience, however. The Republicans who vote in lock-step with this war criminal are beyond contempt.

She became yesterday's news... Once you deprive an attention-who#e of the attention she so desperately craves, she moves on to something else.
