Like what they show in movies? How are the movies correct and how are they not?

All my friends have sisters or brothers in high school. And based on what they said about going there, movies show everything that happens in high school in a completely wrong way, in other words:
Movies about high school are totally wrong!
1) You cannot fit into one of those lockers. It's impossible. Either the lockers are on top of each other or they are side to side. They are only big enought to fit your books and your backpack.
2) The popular group is not well, the popular group. They will not pick on whoever they see unless they don't happen to like you (maybe because you made them mad or something) but all that anger wears off.
3) Geeks are not dressed like that. In all my life, I have not seen anyone dressed like a geek from the movie.
4) No one's gonna make fun of you unless you make them angry ok?
5) You will make friends. Even if everyone else thinks you're a nerd. If you are funny, athletic, fashionable, you might be one of the popular people.
6) Crushes are so not like that in high school. You don't get so caught up in them that you fall off of your chairs.
7) Don't worry, the teachers will not kill you.
In my opinion, movies like the ones on Disney channel DON'T tell the true life of a high-schooler. It's more of a dream-fantasy type school there. Don't depend on the movies. Be yourself. High School isn't so bad. Soon, it'll be all over.

Movies show fantasy high schools. High school is not very different from middle school except that the students are more mature, less silly, and expected to work harder to prepare for college or a future job. Don't believe what you see in the movies; those films are for entertainment, not education.

movies= ALL WRONG
1) you can't fit in your locker
2) no one is going to pick on you without being provoked first
3) nobody gets up and leaves when you sit down at the table when you come over
4) if your weird, you'll probably have more friends than the "popular people"
5) dorks are not dressed like dorks: we have evolved to fit in with the rest of the world
6) your teachers will not eat your soul...well most of them anyways
7) high school sucks in a kind of sickeningly fun way...just have fun ok? 0.o
