I was once putting some shelves up but one of the screws wouldn't fit the hole, it was too big. So after mentally calling the packers who packed the flat pack. I got a big hammer out.

"You WILL go in." repeated numerous times ... then I found out why it wouldn't, I found that I had a screw that was too small for a hole on the underside.

I buy fully assembled stuff now.

yeah man i assembled a massive tunnel at work for the kiddies to climb through (i work in early childhood education) and it had 4 joining pegs left over when i was done.
i supervise that thing like you have no idea now! so scared it will collapse on the little monkeys inside!!

I've never assembled anything and not had bits left over, whats worrying is i heard surgeons do that too

well I was hoping the 3 screws left to the BBQ grill are just spares but...it works fine so far....I wonder...hmmm..=)
