This question is not meant to be despiteful and simply seeks opinions of non-Muslim people about the Islamic faith.
As a non-Muslim, what is your opnion of this faith? Do you think they are misguided (because your particular faith is the true one)?
Please note that this question is not meant to injure or advocate any particular doctrine; I have asked the same question about a different faith already and intend to ask one more.
Intelligent answers will be welcome. Thank you.

I simply compare between those words on here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWGA8i6scYY&mode=related&search=

& the bible quothings:
"Husbands, likewise, dwell with [them] with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as [being] heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered (1Pe 3 : 7)"

Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them (Col 3 : 19)

being muslim myself i ofcourse would say that i believe my religion is right, but then again im not the kind of person that would dis-respect other people beliefs either.
being a muslim, my only problem is the way some ppl interpret Islam, some muslims take it upon themselves to try to seek justice in the world by doing these stupid suicide bombings claiming that it is a form of Jihad and it is not at all. suicide is such a big sin in Islam, that people who do this along with terrorist activities is what contributes towards the negative image people have of us muslims.
we accept the Torah, and the Bible as relgious scriptures aswell as The Quran (as the true words of Allah) and follow the basic teachings to attempt to follow a peaceful life.
i just urge people not to look at islam as a violent religion, muslims seek spirituality through religious prayer and no one can deny that muslims are united when it comes down to prayers.
if you see some particular movies, you will see a glimpse of muslims in a mosque all praying together, for example Dawn of the Dead (the remake) which was released a couple of years back. at the beggining you will seea glimpse of thousands of muslims at the mosque in prayer.
this is one of the things are truelly love about Islam is that muslims are dedicated to prayers.

It is THE BEST message from ALLAH, but unfortunately we are the worst carriers of this message. As we fail to present it in its real and astonishing beauty, just because of our malpractices.

We Muslims today are not living up to the real spirit of Islam, distorting its image. Causing damage to the historical repute of the Muslim Umma ! Look what we were .... and what we are today ?

This is all because we are so deep indulged in the wordly persuits that we dont even bother to know about it. I mean how can we show others what it is all about if we dont know it ourselves ?

So all Muslims reading this ... Think for a while ! What are you trading at the cost of Jannat !

JazakumuALLAH khair.

I'm not sure if you mean the customs and traditions of the Arabic people, or the teachings of the Koran itself. I'm somewhat acquainted with the origins of the family of Ishmael, and I'm aware that being a son of Abraham, whom God was working with in a large way - he was cared for in a special sense, as all others of Abraham's sons.
The certain son of Sarah called Isaac was the one who inherited all his father's Title to possess the land of the Promise, and his children after him. The sons of Ishmael seem to have fared well enough without it .

There were many claims made by Mohammed which were eagerly embraced by this loose association of Arabic people during his times, and I believe they insisted he write the Koran for them, always jealous of the Scriptures that God had given to the children of Israel for safe keeping.

I cannot doubt that the entire story of the Koran, and the way of Islam has unified a people who might have been dissolved in time otherwise, but upon investigating it by reading it I can only say that while I am not really a 'Christian' or a 'Jew'...these writings in the Koran would only interest me if I were Arab, to whom it is tailored to fit.
A troublesome people, it was prophecied that "Against All men the hand of Ishmael, a zebra of a man (wild) will come to be, and against him shall the hands of all men be"

I believe the fulfillment of the prophecy by Abraham is self-evident.

I believe Islam has many good morals and values carried out the wrong way by many muslims (fundamentalists) who give the whole faith a bad reputation. I wouldn't want to be Muslim as I feel a headscarf oppresses my freedom as a woman. I believe a Muslim has to do many choices (no alocohol, no smoking, praying 5 times a day etc) that restrict their freedom as an individual but I respect that.

Sathya Sai Baba say, Holy Quran, like Vedas were the visions the Prophet had from God / Allah.

When the Prophet Mohammed interpreted His Visions first with His language, Arabic, THAT perhaps became Sruthi, What is told and heard.

Edit:-

Lightning and Thunder can be Visualised like Vedas, the Visions and These Visions can also be told with our own limited sounds and languages. The One who has some glimpses of Thunder and Lightning understands, far better than the one who has never seen any of its glimpses. He has only the oratory jugglery of Amazing, Beautiful, Dangerous, Phantastic to depend on and try comprehending.

May be there are Many Hidden Truths and Gems still in Quran that are not found still by all those Scholars of Islam.

Like the interpretation of Allah as all the Creators in this link.

I am not a religious fanatic by any means , and while I know that Islam has gotten a bad wrap because of current global events , it would not be for me as I generally do not go with religion as a whole!

but have a good day!

I don't care that they are drones like most christians. Currently, their low state of cultural achievement/development is causing many to lash out and blame the west for all of their problems. Whining and acting out in random acts of violence is not a policy that makes many friends.

I'm really not educated enough to give my view on Islam. I know nothing about the religion. I don't even know as much as I should about Christianity.

I think that the foundations of the religion are fascinating, especially the life of Mohammed. Does anyone know that earlier in his life he worked for his uncle (I believe) at his idol shop? Yes, it is true. You can see where I'm going from here.
