Since you can't use PowerPoint, use the large flip sheets to illustrate your points.
The first thing to do when you walk in the room is to make eye contact with everone in the room (just scan your eyes over everyone there) and introduce yourself confidently.
Remember that whatever topic you choose your interviewers do not want to sit there trying to figure out what you're talking about so you should state this at the beginning of the presentation. For instance, if you're going to talk about why you believe nurses should receive a pay rise then you should start with "I believe that Nurses are currently underpaid and I will show you why they deserve this and how it would be financially possible."
Make sure you remain passionate so try to read as little from notes as possible so they don't think you've just got the info from Wikipedia or something. You need to know the subject like the back of your hand!!
Try to pick a subject which is related to the position you're applying to in someway but make sure it's an aspect of it that you can know enough about that they can't trip you up when they question you.

I would think you first need to find out as much about the comapany as possible. I interview candidates and I can't stand it when people come in not knowing a thing about our agency. The next would be to learn about what your goals and objectives are. If you are the Team Leader in a customer Services Company I would assume you would want to assess the needs of your clients. What is working for them? What is not working for them? What has worked in the past? What has failed in the past? What are the number of complaints vs compliments? What are the complaints? Does your group have a mission statement, if not you should work on creating one. Do they have guiding principles? If not, they should also be created. You should also be interviewing your team to learn from their experience with the company and to also show them that you value their input. I can see how this would be a hard question to answer as an interviewee, but as an interviewer I see it as a slam dunk...get to know your audience and how to best serve them. Good luck, and remember to make sure your answers are consistent and that they do not sound rehearsed. Have an idea in your head as to how you want to answer the questions but DO NOT memorize an answer. This is the biggest downfall of some of our applicants.

first find your passion - and then speak passioately about it - don't be too controversial thogh, example: give a presentation on the flag but avoid politics like flag burning or the war. THe subject matter is not key here if you can present a passionate case for an apple, that is fine too. They want to see how you speak, and present yourself. they will probably have a Q and A after to see how you handle yourself. Have fun with it, it will help in the long run

Go to www.toastmasters.org. They have some good tips on their website. Develop a theme about something you're interesting in, create three points about it, memorize an opening and a closing, and run it by several friends and family members to get their feedback. Time it to make sure it doesn't run under or over the time allotted, but shorter is probably better than longer.

pick a subject that you are familiar with, so that you can speak passionately about it and answer questions. the audience loves visuals and examples. although you are not allowed to use any IT equipment or slides, you can still provide people with handouts, posters. i don't know what job you're applying for, but your subject should relate to the job in some way.

Know your stuff inside out. You got to be able to provide the correct answer when the panel asks you a question.
