A nice quick simple answer for you that I found for me.

I finally was able to walk through a park and be in awe at just how beautiful the World truly is. Even beneath the bad things.
The birds and trees, sunsine and clouds were beautiful and I suddenly relised I was content for the first time in 13 years.

When you eat the right amount of food
When your getting the right amount of sleep.
When you have good moods most of the time and bad moods don't linger for weeks at a time.
When life looks rosy outside
When you like people and your not irritable at little things.
When you enjoy life with its challenges.
When your not wishing you were dead
All of this and when a phyciatrist says that you're healthy

You can get up in the morning and cope with what the day brings you. You can smile at the smallest thing and appreciate the day for what it is. You do not avoid people and enjoy meeting new people.
Most of all there is the recognition inside yourself that you are happy and okay with you and the world around you.
The feeling of joy and serenity is obvious.

12 yrs ago, I worked in a psychiatric facility. Most of the patients were schizophrenic. They had not idea they were thinking "outside the box" so to speak. I had one lady who got a Haldol shot at the end of every month and I hated it because it took the whole house to hold her down to give it. She had no clue she was nuts.
