If I were to go after getting an AA in Electronics I would only be 20 units away(all Electronics courses). El. is just something I've always been interested in. However, I know that mere interest is not the best idea when it comes to choosing something like this. Do eletricians make decent money?

I have seen a lot of AAE people get jobs in biomedical tech departments in hospitals...

You might get a jop as an electronics technician. But it you want to make any kind of a living at it, you really need a BSc. or an MSc.
