Impulse Control DIsorders consist of troublesome behavior that the individual has difficulty controlling and can't be clearly attributed to another mental disorder.
The main types are Kleptomania (compulsive stealing), Intermittent Explosive Disorder (extreme anger with little or no provocation), Pathological Gambling, Pyromania (impulsive fire setting), Trichotillomania (compulsive hair plucking) and Impulse Control DIsorder Not Otherwise Specified (any troublesome impulsive behavior that doesn't fit the other categories).
Sometimes the individual learns to control the behavior and sometimes they don't. They can be treated with medication and therapy.

No, I do not think that impulse control disorder is incurable. People are impulsive. They act on their impulses without thinking whether it is appropriate or not.
If you always keep in mind one thing then I assure you that it will help.

It is not a disease, it is a mental disorder. You need to talk to a mental health practitioner.
