Why? Everybody can sing. Amitabh can sing, Shatrughna can sing, Ila Arun Sings. Many sing in Bathroom. Why do you fear? Start singing immediately, whatever you sing, however you sing but sing. It Will increase your confidence. Then you can sing in public also. Don't try to be second Latadidi, Asha or Sunidhi Chouhan. Be yourself.

You might have heard the foreigners. We don't understand what they sing or whether they cry. Still become popular. Chord, tone, volume or anything else does not matter.

Even Sunil Gavaskar sung. The beggars on the street also sing. I now like bhajans.

Then why not anybody. God has already gifted it to everybody. He who utilises it for self satisfaction, wins. I am eager to hear you singing.

God bless you.

Just like anything else- you can learn to do most things but singing is definitely a gift. You cannot teach someone to sing. I have been singing before I could talk. Practice only helps with holding notes longer but not pitch- you either have it or you don't. Also, if you can't sing, writing is always an option.

everyone has been given two legs ( except for a few who have lost theirs to injury or birth defect) but not everyone can run fast. Some can run fast, but they don't compete in athletic events because they have not trained for it. Only the very few make it to the Olympics.
everyone has been given a voice ( except for a few who have lost theirs to injury or birth defect) but not everyone can sing beautifully. Some can, but they prefer not to make it their profession, because it is a difficult job, full of ego problems, stress, and no stability. Only the very few make it to the top, and then, do we remember those who place 4th, 5th, or 6th?
Practice will help anyone's voice improve. It remains to be seen what they choose to do with it after that. Certainly the grace of God(s) is necessary to acquire the nerves of steel that are required to stay in the business.
Best wishes and keep on singing

Yes. It is true.*

Take S.P.B. He never attended any class till he comes for cine singing profession. With that he sung the song of Shankara... in Shankarabaranam film. Every Classical singer use to praise him for that song.

and lot more artists are there who haven't got a guide for basic, but doing well with the high level.

All arts are termed as God's gift.

You should posses it, or atleast you should have a chance to appreciate it.

In the current times, anybody can become a singer...
Don’t you see 50% of the blockbuster commercial singers do not have the basic qualities of singers...?
Big bribes, godfathers, godmothers, relations, linguistics, favors (?) etc can make you a singer... may be that you may fade away early...

Real singers are god gifted followed by proper training and practice...

Only the voice you have is god-gifted but by practice you may improve the quality of singing. You can follow up the style or technique of one's popular singer but you cannot immitate the voice of that particular singer. For instance, you may try to immitate to sing like Lataji/Kishoreji/Mukeshji/Mohd. Raffi Saheb but your voice can never be similar to them. Each and every person has his/her own individuality and personality.

Its a god gift but still it needs refinement by a sangeet guru. It is just like having the basic intelligence and grasping power but not having a formal knowlege of the subject.

Ofcourse it is God gifted which can later be refined/improved through classical training under guidance of noted Gurus.
LATA, RAFI are noted examples.
Some may be exceptions--like Kishore Kumar........
