You might have corrupted files on your computer so I'd download Norton Anti Virus and then do a virus scan on your computer. It takes about an hour at the most and it detects all of the faulty files. You could also do a spring clean of your files aswell. They may not be faulty but they're taking up room on your computer's memory!

Here are several things to help out. Do a disk clean-up, defrag and then go to pcpitstop.com and run there test. It will give some recommendations. I would also recommend several anti-virus/spyware programs. AVG free anti-virus/Spyware, Spybot and CCleaner. I believe you can get all of these at filehippo.com. Hope this helped.

My recommendation is: http://www.spybot.com/en/index.html
it is a good anti-spyware/adware tool. Just run it every once in a while.
