Ive been talking with this guy for two months now, and he doesnt want to have the relationship. We both really like eachother but hes not one that wants to "play the field", so i dont know of why he wouldnt want to date. The only thing i could figure is hes not ready for a relationship. He likes me a lot and I feel the same way. How should I continue?

I forgot to mention that it is a monogamus sexual friendship. So its not like we are just "hooking up" we act like we date, we do things couples do. Just not sure why he doesnt want the title. Like I said before he isnt the player type and wouldnt be doing this because its "limiting his options".. soo yea any more thoughts?

my advise is tough becoz l have just recently or am still not sure about a guy in a similar situation and l have been thinking about it and l asked myself "why should l let someone who only wants to hang around me and doesnt want this to go further take all my ideas, my loving nature for granted is it worthy for ME! am happy when am with them but the fact that they wish to draw a line so soon yet being in contact with people means building a relationship not defining and staying becoz its fun will only cause lots of pain at the end..Are you worth that or more??

Try being more elusive, perhaps the thought of losing you completely might kick him into action. If it doesn't you'll know he not interested and get some closure. Remember the chase is the fun part.

i hate to burst your bubble, i know it feels good to be in love and be loved by someone, but i think he is not as serious as what he says he is to you... I mean, he may like you but not as a girlfriend, or he still does not see you as the "one". actually i think he is the one who really likes to play the field and collect as much girl as possible.. It could be that he does not want to go out on a date with you because he does not want to be seen with you, either because he has got a girl or he has got a wife already...

Hey, he has made it clear. He is't ready for a relationship.
Go with that, you are reading too much to the friendship you two have.
Be his friend and don't push anything more. Them more you push the more he will go away.
hang loose
