hii ..
I am a muslim girl who chose Hijab ...the complete hijab "covering face "
My family is opposing me ..
I am the only one who wears it in here ...
I am proud of it ...
and I dont think it will prevent me from career ..
I am a university student "Information Technology "..and I always get scholarships ...
and ...mmmmm..all of the doctors respect me ...despite some of them dont like religious people !!

the great thing about Hijab is that .... it makes people ready to LISTEN to you ...not LOOK at you ...

respect you coz who YOU are ..not coz you look beautiful or sth ..
I love it !!

WQ: even although I stated it is going to be somebody youthful who desires the "rub" which includes Sheamus, i've got faith John Cena must be the guy to stand Undertaker and venture the streak. enable's settle for it, Undertaker is coming on the tip of his occupation and that's uncommon that he places his streak against the present face of the WWE, which at the instant is John Cena. this could be a extensive draw by using fact the popularity of the two one in all them. They have not confronted off considering that early - mid 2000 and that's time that we see it returned. the two have replaced during the years and those moments do no longer are available many circumstances. while it includes Wrestlemania, anybody supplies it their all and that i comprehend those 2 are able to arising an on the spot classic. Will all and sundry be waiting to persist with Shawn Michaels after the final 2 showdowns? no longer likely. It wasn't specifically the wrestling, however the story being instructed and the emotion displayed. the only 2 that i will see waiting to verify it or a minimum of compete with Shawn is the two John Cena and Triple H. the two are able to putting on that classic tournament with Undertaker, if given the point and time. i've got faith that the two components and can grant Shawn a run for his money, so it is going to likely be exciting to work out.

It depends on the employer themselves.
I hv been engaged to an American and he told me that time that I would face problems in getting an equal chance to get a good job when I move to the US just because I wear the hair cover. Actually I became scared of being treating according to what I wear. It was one of reasons caused the break up later.
I think it is perfect to let the woman wear the way she wants. How do hair cover annoy others? It is a personal choice but I hate the way they force the women to wear it in some countries as well as I hate the way they force her to take it off in other countries by such policies in getting work and so on.

P.S. I am successful in my career over here in my country...

Peace

Well, in the USA, I think it would hold you back in a career. I think people like to see your face and your expressions. But that doesn't mean someone can't be a "trail blazer" and try to do it with a veil, anyway.

For your information, women have a tougher time making it in a career than a guy does, anyway. Even without a veil. I think a veil would just give people one more thing to use to say, "She's not a team player."

I guess I would ask you what you mean by veil? Are you speaking of a complete covering of the face also? If so then yes this would hold a woman back from a successful career because of discrimination. If you are speaking of women who wear niqab then yes I feel they would be discriminated against. I feel the least likely would be a woman who wears a scarf. I have known many successful women who wear it. I think a woman's success should not be based on her looks.

no veil or hijab can hold a woman back from being successful. if women believe they have to uncover their body to be successful well then tat is not sucess, they are merely being cowards who cannot face the society and fight against injustice and discrimination because exposaing is an easy way out. i, my mother and my sisters waer hijab and MasHAllah are successful in our respected field tat are medical, business and education and tat too in a country like Pakistan where women have a very difficult life.

There are numerous examples of young Muslim women being active in their universities through the Muslims Students Association as well as in local Islamic centers. Wearing hijab, they go out and do volunteer work, and are active in their communities. Many finish university and become professionals in a variety of fields and live their lives with their Islamic identity intact. They respect others and require others to respect them.

There's s difference between veil(niqab) n the hijab(scarf)....well i stay in the middle east n one of those who chooses to cover her face as well.........here there are MANY muslim women doctors who wear the veil n work.....the veil isnt causing any hindrance in their career........im doin my Bachelors in Business n wear the veil.......its not causing ne hindrance for me. But, yes it also depends on the country ur staying in.
To cynic- i stay in an arab country n there are thousands of teenagers who wear the regular attire n NO ONE gets paranoid here........what u may have seen doesnt happen in all of the muslim countries.

well, if a man can't look at you and judge you by how pretty you are, then he has to actually listen to what you have to say. women who wear veils have to attract a mate by their brains, not their body. It is the same with work. "respect me for my mind, not because i'm the secretary wearing the most makeup and the shortest skirt..."

Its amazing how many people blame america for not being open to the hajib/hijab. Try walking through an arab country in a regular teenagers attire from america and you will see who is paranoid.
