why God won't answer a challenge?Sort of more proof that there isn't a God to answer the challenge in the first place.I have made enough challenges in my life to know that if there was a God he would have answered at least one challenge. No matter what the Bible says, if God won't accept any challenges then either he isn't worthy or isn't there.

I challenged God to show himself and he didn't.I challenged God to strike me down.He didn't.I challenged God to send an angel on his behalf to speak to me and do it in a way that I would know it was heavenly. He didn't.These are all worthy challneges he didn't accept.Perhaps because he isn't there.

It's a convenient way to close a loophole. If we challenge God to prove himself and nothing happens, christians can claim "oh, that's just be we shouldn't test him". It comes under the same bracket as "god did answer the prayer, he just said no".

Incidentally, he HAS answered a challenge, according to the bible - Gideon and the Fleece in Judges (I think). Which makes me wonder why he won't do it any more.

I'm going to try to answer this without violating community standards. It might be difficult.

First, this isn't a question. It's a statement of your resolve to not believe in God. That is your choice. I never challenge a person's choice to disbelieve--that is between you and God.

I find enough evidence of God's existence (or at least the existence of some sort of intelligent designer to all of this) in the universe and world in which we live. I don't challenge God. I don't need to.

God doesn't need to prove his existence to you or me or anyone. We are all free to believe or disbelieve as we wish and are able.

If we try to tempt God we are suggesting we are important enough as individuals that God can jump through a hoop or two to show us he's there. We are important enough for God to love us, and I believe that is demonstrated each day we live.

God loves us and cares about us but does so on His terms, not ours.

Good people have accidents, and some get sick and die. There are wars, which God may abhorr, but He does not interfere in them. Life is no bed of roses, nor was it intended to be.

We make the mistake of thinking God reacts and acts as we do. In fact, we should react to God rather than Him reacting to us.

I am a Christian. I was raised in a church but drifted into agnosticsim while in college. I was an agnostic for several years before I returned to my faith. That was never about God. It was about me.

Your "question" is not about God. It is about you. Knowing the difference is critical to belief or disbelief.

He is above that, for example you could never challenge me to do certain things like cheat on my spouse or steal. He is morally above being tempted. I have other temptations that I am not morally above that I have a hard time with, but God doesn't have that problem.

Why would God even need to be tempted? He is the creator of all. He is who can take your life at any given time. So, it is silly to say that you will challenge Him.

Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told.
Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you.
