after about 2000 years, a lot of signs have followed. When Jesus said this generation will nto pass away until all thses things are fullfilled, did he mean that the generation that saw Israel return to thier land will be the generaion that will see his return? Please if there is any bible schollors out there, please explain this. Every generation has thought they will be the last ones even Aposile Paul, but there has one been one generation that has seen Israel back in her land and that generation is this one. Christians, preferable pastors and scholors please explain(sound like Pauline Hanson) I believe this is an important question. Will this generation see the rapture of the church?

Many references in the NT makes the suggestions that since Jesus we are living in the last days. I do not think much like the millenianists that expect the second coming at the turn of every recent century. However, the analogy of the fig tree in the Gospel gives a crypic clue to be aware that the time is not too far in the future. There is another observation that comes from Scripture that a thousand years for the Lord is like one day. I am inclined to think on the following lines;

Looking at clues from Scripture that we live at the end time.

Looking at significant events such as the return of the Jews to their promised land in 1948 and even more at the tightening of every aspect that is putting unpecedented pressure on the Earth; from bourgeoning population hitting "J" curve in its exponential growth; environmental degradation and global warming etc etc. where the trends, are thought, cannot be reversed in time - looking at less than a couple of decades according to some predictions before a catastrophic collapse . It is not altogether inconcievable that The Almighty is almost ready to make a move - because it is becomining increasingly apparent that it is beyond any human solution altogether. The signs that appear on such a Global scale cannot be ignored.

If we take into consideration that a thousand years are as one day for the Lord, It crosses my mind that in terms of the resurrection of Jesus - We, living at the beggining of the third millenium - are equivalently in the early morning of the third day when the resurrection took place - or in other words when something extraordinary was about to happen.

When you add up all these scattered bits of information a pattern does seem to take shape. It doesn't however mean that it is necessarily like this at all. And it does not matter even to your life a s a Christian who may believe in these things because whatever happens we live or die for the Lord anyway. We aught to acknowledge Gods Love always and live to reflect that in any circumstances. I wouldn't let it warry you at all if the end is near - it could be something quite nice; a sort of change of pace.

Peace

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the generation you speak of is not here answering your questions.

Anyone who was old enough to see Israel become a nation in 1948 would now be over 60 (you can't really say a 1-year-old is a witness, can you?). That generation is dying off and the Rapture hasn't happened.

The generations you are corresponding with here are much younger than that. If the Rapture was going to happen during the lifetime of the generation you mentioned, it is already too late.

Don't let the people mock you. I was born in 1948 and I am a Biblical Scholar and am in college furthering my education. Two things have been accomplished since 1948 and there is only one more thing that needs to happen to bring on the end times. That is the building of the temple. The Iranian government keeps saying they will destroy Israel and we know that will never happen. I predict war between Israel and Iran which will end with Israel becoming the victor and nothing will prevent them from building the temple. Am I the final generation? No one knows the date for Christ to come again, but for these things to happen in my generation, you would have to be a fool to ignore them.

Hate to burst your bubble but the rapture already happened and nobody made the cut!

And Israel still doesn't have all they had!

End times isn't your primary focus! Live a good life following your beliefs and try not to judge others!

If you are true to your beliefs, then whether the end is tomorrow or in a thousand years won't matter!

Remember to follow your heart and faith and remember your God loves you!

Bless Be!

the persons in Israel the land are not Jews they're Khazars. Revelation 2:9 3:9 speaks on them. the actual Israel (right here in u . s . a . of america) suits the curses of Duet, and that they are able to't return till Jesus (Yashuah) comes back.

The rapture won't happen until after the tribulation, so until we see the rise of the Antichrist and the final persecution of Christ's followers, the rapture won't happen yet. This generation may see it happen, but there's going to be hell on earth before it does occur.

Yes I am a Bible scholar and Jesus just lied it is simple as that. Jesus was talking about the generation he was in. There is no other way to interpret it, That generation passed 2000 years ago so Jesus just lied. BB
