In answer to a question from American reporter Webb Miller, Gandhi said, "[Thoreau's] ideas influenced me greatly. I adopted some of them and recommended the study of Thoreau to all of my friends who were helping me in the cause of Indian Independence. Why I actually took the name of my movement from Thoreau's essay 'On the Duty of Civil Disobedience,' written about 80 years ago."

This was around the time Churchill was refusing to see Gandhi, calling him nothing but a "naked fakir."

a large type of the customers has given solid solutions. Neither Gandhi nor Ambedkar may be blamed. Ambedkar needed reservation to be abolished after a diverse era, 10 years. yet our present day politicians, have been employing this as a gadget to garner votes. What solid we had from Raja, Dinakaran or our honourable former chief Justice KGB? yet i think of that's the persons who must be blamed at latest. they think of Reservation as their birthright. they are waiting to vote for the social gathering, that provides quota to their caste. They by no potential knows that this is a shame to get chosen in faculties or in employments employing your caste over skills. whether we get any chief who says reservation would be abolished, no longer in basic terms the political events, yet human beings from many components of the country will strike by contrast. on condition that we get a solid chief and while human beings realizes this pain at the back of reservation, this evil would be stopped.
