Well, let me answer the same thing as I just answered a few minutes ago.

You would have to prove scientifically that beyond the shadow of a doubt there is scientific proof that God does NOT exist and that means that your theory cannot be disproven.

But as I understand it, science is never proven as fact. It's always scientific theory, right?

So, based on that theory, you BELIEVE that God does not exist. Right? That means that you are going by faith that God does not exist.

So, you would need to prove to me scientifically that there is scientific EVIDENCE that God does not exist, not just a theory. Otherwise it's simply that you have faith that he does not exist.

EDIT: Oishi.hana - I think that the you misunderstand what faith is for a Christian. You say it's illogically based. That's not true. Logically I can assume God exists based on the evidence I've seen, which justifies my faith.

Even if I had a total mental relapse God would protect me from believing a lie as big as atheism considering that God has put the knowledge of Himself in every man so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:19-20).

Down deep inside of every atheist is that seed of the knowledge of God that totally eliminates anyone from being a true atheist. That is why the Bible declares without apology,
"The Fool has said IN HIS HEART there is no God."

To deny what is in you is not wise! Actually it constitutes lying to yourself, and in this case, on the most important issue of all

This is a really awesome question.
But honestly...I think even if it was proven that there is no God they'll still believe in God and pray for your soul. :D

Electrosmack1:
I personally like to poke fun at the crazy Christians that don't use logic and common sense to justify their beliefs but things that "God" has told them. I seriously don't see how a book that wasn't written by God, but hearsay and the church that reads it off to you can serve as "Hearing it from God".

Pslams.....:
If I was Atheist I wouldn't say "I have faith that God doesn't exist" the reason why most Atheists don't believe in God is because there is no proof to prove he exists and it's irrational to hold true something that can't be proven to be true. Also the dictionary definition of "Faith" doesn't always speak in terms of religion it can be defined in term of "confidence" or "trust". The same thing for "Belief" it can be used in terms of "firm opinion" or "trust". It doesn't have to be related to any type of religious ideas. BUT, in terms of someone who believes in God they aren't using any sort of logical conclusion to justify their "confidences". At least Atheists can justify it by saying "I think there is no God because there is no proof" and that is a rational statement.

It would have to be proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is no God.

However, I've been an atheist. Not going back.

hmm,,, maybe the atheist keep attacking the Christians / those who believe the bible, because they are jeolous, and deep down inside really do believe in God, they just dont want to openly admit it, so they get offensive trying to distract from the truth...

A magical gnome or sky daddy or unicorn.
Or a croc-o-duck.
Animal Planet or TLC or wildlife channel playing the croc-o-duck hunter show.

They can't give up their religion. The religious need to believe that they have something greater watching over them, something with the ability to make them never die or lose, forever, their loved ones.
They need to believe that they are loved, no-matter what.
They believe that they are so wonderful that only a god could have created them.
We can only pity them.
