Unless he's the father you can't. Some DODDS schools can be attended by paying students, though, like a private school. Check into that.

likely he will not be able to until you get married. DoD schools are typically overcrowded so they only allow eligible students to attend. Eligible students include biological and adopted children of SM stationed at that base. also, you don't necessarily have to have adopted the child of a spouse, but the child would have to live with you at least half time in order to be eligible.

If he is the father he will have no problem enrolling the child in Deers and getting him onto school, heck this should already be done. If he is not the father your out of luck. And there is no paying to go to a DODDS school, the other lady was wrong.

He has to adopt him, or you will have to get married. Otherwise, he can't go. DoD schools are only for DoD students, and based on the information you've provided, your son doesn't meet that criteria.

Well first is your partner his dad? If so it wouldn't be a problem, but if not then your partner would have to adopt him so that he would be his dependent.
